Ibrahimović believes his match with Napoli will be ‘fun’

Milan sticker, Ibrahimović, puts Daniele Bonera at ease saying the match with Napoli and his former teammate, Gattuso, ‘will be fun’.

Daniel Bonera, Milan’s assistant coach, is on duty today as

Rossoneri

head coach, Stefano Pioli, and his assistant manager are dealing with COVID-19 as well as four of the staff.

“We miss Pioli a great deal, but we stay in contact every day, he talks to the team during and after training sessions, gives us feedback as if was there,” Ibrahimović said.

“Bonera has been doing a great job, it’s a new situation for him, but he knows all the players well and prepared well for this match. Every now and then I tell him, hey, don’t be stressed, there’s Ibra, I’ll take care of it.”

Gennaro Gattuso, who was

Ibrahimović

’s former teammate, stated that he is ready to face him.

Ibra said: “I don’t know him as a coach, only as a person and a teammate. I played with him, I played against him. He’s a great person and I admire him a great deal, he’s got such character and does everything to win, but there’s someone in this Milan team who also gives everything to win. It’ll be fun!”

The 39-year-old was asked about his contract extension as he appeared to be in such a cheerful mood during his interview

“After I missed that penalty, we’re a long way off! I am not the dominant party in this conversation. I just have to keep doing well, then when (director Paolo) Maldini wants to talk, we’ll see.”
