Conte talks about team’s condition with Torino clash ahead of them

Sat 21 November 2020 | 14:16

Antonio Conte has spoken about benching Eriksen and the team’s COVID19 cases.

There have been reports about

Eriksen

starting

Inter’s

next match on the bench and Conte says it is a decision that he has to make.

“I always say that I make the choices for the good of Inter,” Conte said at a press conference.

“I think Christian had plenty of opportunities, he played more than other players. He will start or come off the bench when I deem it appropriate, otherwise I will make other decisions.”

Here’s Conte’s opinion on

Pandelli

,

Brozovic

and

Kolarov’

positive tests for COVID19

"We get to the game with three positives,

"Apart from them and [Andrea] Pinamonti, the rest of players are available. There are some who played important games with their national teams and others who played less.

"The situation is difficult but not only for Inter. And it’s more difficult for clubs that play European competitions which are challenging.

"It will be like this until Christmas and even after, we know it very well. We will have to deal with the situation in the best possible way, hoping that good luck will smile a little between injuries and players positive for Covid.”

Inter will face

Torino

in an important Serie A fixture on Sunday.
