Sergio Canales, Real Betis star, sidelined the remainder of 2020
With only nine minutes into the La Roja’s UEFA Nations League with Germany on Tuesday, which was a thumping 6-0 defeat, Canales was drawn out. It was approximated that he will return in December. It was then announced that the professional footballer has severely injured a torn ligament.
His recovery can last from six to eight weeks. As a consequence, he will miss the following six competitions in league and cup action and is expected to be sidelined on January 3 derby with Sevilla.
On November 23, Real Betis will go to Athletic Bilbao. Manual Pellegrini’s side is expected to miss some LaLiga games as well as a La Copa draw with UCAM Murcia.
