Sergio Canales, Real Betis attacking midfielder, is going to miss the rest of 2020. The 29-year-old has been injured in the hamstring area playing on an international break with Spain.
With only nine minutes into the La Roja’s UEFA Nations League with Germany on Tuesday, which was a thumping 6-0 defeat, Canales was drawn out. It was approximated that he will return in December. It was then announced that the professional footballer has severely injured a torn ligament.
His recovery can last from six to eight weeks. As a consequence, he will miss the following six competitions in league and cup action and is expected to be sidelined on January 3 derby with Sevilla.
On November 23,Real Betis
will go to Athletic Bilbao. Manual Pellegrini’s side is expected to miss some LaLiga games as well as a La Copa draw with UCAM Murcia.
