Real Madrid list of absentees extends with Benzema and Casemiro

For their next upcoming games, Zidane will have to deal with the players at his hand, now that some of his game makers will be out of the field.

Following international break

Real Madrid

will be hosted by their opponent

Villareal

without their Frenchman

Karim Benzema

. The 32-year-old, who picked up a knock during their previous match against

Valencia

. will be one of the absentees for the game.

The other Whites players who will miss Villareal game are:

Sergio Ramos

(due to a hamstring injury),

Luka Jovic

(due to positive Corona test),

Casemiro

and

Eder Militao

(recovery from Coronavirus and unfitness). But one advantage for Zidane’s side will be the return of

Eden Hazard

after recovering from Coronavirus.

Real Madrid who will have to play 10 games in the next 32 games will be dealing with a great load of work believes Zidane.

“I don't want to say too much but what I can say is because I see that the schedule is too much,” he said at a press conference on Friday.  “I think about the health of the players, nothing more. They never stop. And I’m not just talking about my players. It’s true that I’m worried.”

“There are people who are there to make the schedule, but I’m worried by it.”
