Thu 19 November 2020 | 21:36

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti says the rumors about his interest in working with Isco again are bullsh*t.

In the new season,

Isco

has not been able to become a key player under Zinedine Zidane and has been constantly struggling with sitting on the bench; The issue that has caused rumors about the separation of the Spanish star from

Real Madrid

in the January transfer window.

Arsenal

are said to be Isco's most important customer. However, there are also rumors about his transfer to another English club,

Everton

. Everton boss

Carlo Ancelotti

has previously worked with Isco at Real Madrid and it is not at all unlikely that the Spanish midfielder will leave for Merseyside in January.

Rumors of

Everton

's interest in

Isco

have been met with a backlash from the Italian coach:

“It is not true that I am behind Isco.

“We haven’t started thinking about the team for the January market. So those comments are, as they say here, bullsh*t.”

Ancelotti said

Ancelotti

also spoke about the performance of

James Rodriguez

at Everton:

“James Rodriguez started very well. It is true that after playing against Liverpool he had problems because he had a blow and difficulty in recovering.

“He played a game where he had not trained well and performance has dropped for this reason.

“The quality of the player is not discussed; it has never been discussed either at Real Madrid or at Bayern Munich.

“I think that these two teams, had more difficulty because there is more competition in the team and, sometimes, it can happen that you don’t play.

“I think it’s more important for him to play than to train. In my opinion, he can have a good physical level if he plays - this is why he hasn’t played much at Real Madrid.

“Changing a team that has been successful is much more complicated.”
