Italy Boss believes his team is ready for competition after securing a place in the Nations League finals.
After their Wednesday win againstBosnia-Herzegovina
made it to Nations League finals with one point above Netherlands. Among other teams which have made it to the finals are Belgium, Spain, and France. Alberigo Evani who led the Azzuri to their win is happy for securing a place in the next level and is ready to compete with Europe’s top international teams.
"It will be nice to compare ourselves against some of the best sides around," he told
. "We are talking about the best in Europe and we can't wait to see our level. “
"We think we are close to competing with them, but we will have to see when we facing them next year."
Evani who took charge of Mancini’s position after his positive Covid-19 test dedicated their last win to the Italy coach saying: "We speak to him every day - he knows exactly what is going on. These guys have given him a nice gift and great satisfaction.”
