Luis Suarez has big dreams at Wanda Metropolitano in his first season at Atletico Madrid.
The Uruguayan star left Barça for Atletico this summer, and his team has been the only unbeaten La Liga side this season.
. Roji Blancos won the La Liga title in 2014 and so far this season, they have won 5 of their seven games, and they are 3 points away from the leading Real Sociedad despite playing two fewer games. They are 23 matches unbeaten in LaLiga and are currently going through the best unbeaten run among European teams.
Suarez now praised his team's condition and insisted that they have big aims in mind.
He told Marca: "I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm following Atleti's path. The team is very united, solid, ambitious. We are all ready and confident we can do big things."
Despite promising results in La Liga, Atletico have won just one of their last five away games in the Champions League. Their only victory in these five matches goes back to the game against Liverpool at Anfield.
"I think the Champions League is very different to LaLiga," Suarez said. "It's all about the moment of each team. It's very physical now. The game against Bayern was because they were more efficient than us. From five or six chances, they scored four. We had more chances, but we couldn't convert them. That's costly in the Champions League.
"If we improve on that efficiency, we can compete against Bayern, who are the best team in Europe, or Liverpool, who the team already knocked out last season.
