Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli praised Inter Milan midfielder Niccolo Barrela and described playing with him and Jorginho in the Italian national team as "wonderful".
The Sassuolo midfielder has repeatedly spoken of his interest in joining the big clubs and playing in the Champions League. After shining at the Mapei Stadium, he has recently been able to find a place for himself in the Italian national team.
He joined Sassuolo from Milan in 2018 and enjoys playing with his teammates in the Italian national team, especially Barella..
He told SportMediaset:“Barella is a great player. I have always said that.
“I believe his strength is the humility that has always distinguished him since he was a kid, since I have known him.
“Playing with him and with [Chelsea midfielder] Jorginho is wonderful, we have a lot of fun. It was a good match [against Poland].”
Locatelli played five games for the Italian national team, playing 90 minutes against Poland in the UEFA Nations League, with Azzurri winning 2-0.
