Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has stated that he wants to stay with the club and it seems the club wants the same.
has stated that he wants to ‘stay with the club’ and has no intention of leaving.
His contract with
Manchester Cityexpires in 2023 and he has been playing for
Pep Guardiolasince 2015 when he moved from
Wolfsburg.
Also, it seems that City want to renew the Belgium international’s contract for another five years.
After
Belgium2-0 win over England, he was asked about his future and he said:” I am at a good club [with] good owners.
"We are a bit in talks – not advanced. At the moment I am doing the talks myself.
"I would like to stay with the club, so it's easy. If I didn't want to stay, it would take someone to mediate. But when you want to stay, it's not so difficult."
Since playing for City, he has won two Premier League titles, four EFL Cups, the FA Cup and, Community Shield.
He had appeared 161 times in Premier League in which he has 110 wins, 23 losses, 37 goals, and 69 assists.
In this season, Man City sit 10th in the Premier League table and De Bruyne has one goal and three assists.
