Lozano: when Gattuso gets angry, he becomes an ogre.

Lozano is now scoring well after a bad season. But he thinks of bigger teams like Barcelona.

The Mexican striker from Napoli has said that he is interested in playing for Barcelona in the future and confirmed that his first season in Italy was tough.

Lozano joined Napoli in 2019 from PSV Eindhoven. His first season in San Paolo was not good, but this season he has scored four goals in 6 Serie A games.

Lozano believes he could not satisfy Gattuso last year, but now he knows how to deal with him.

“He is very direct,” Lozano told TV Azteca Deportes. “He has his own way of being and when he gets angry, he becomes an ogre.

“But he is undoubtedly a good person. After last the experience last year, I think I have understood how to relate to him. We must learn as much as possible from him.”

“It was a very hard year. I don’t hide the fact that I asked my wife many times: ‘What are we doing here?’,” he added.

“Thanks to her and to God, we were able to overcome the difficulties. It was tough for my daughter too, not knowing the language.

“In the future, we will remember this as an obstacle to overcome. Talking to Gattuso has changed a lot.

“Last year, I learned a lot from my teammates and now I feel like a more mature and complete player.”

The 25-year-old striker would like to play for Barcelona in the future.

“Since I was at PSV, I wanted to measure myself in a more important League,” he said. “Italian football is difficult, but I like it.

“For the future, you never know what will happen. There are many clubs where I would like to play, for example Barcelona.”
