Cesare Prandelli believes that Viola directors will not regret their decision as making him the new coach.

believes that Viola directors will ‘renew’ his contract in three months.

He had a successful career as head coach in Florence and after 10 years he returned to replace Beppe Iachini this month.

Also, it has been rumored that former Napoli and Juventus coach Sarri is targeted for the summer and this idea for Prandelli is ‘like fantasy football.’

“Staying with Sarri? It seems like fantasy football,” Prandelli said.

“When we met with the directors, we talked about football for three hours.

“Then we reached an agreement in 30 seconds. I told the club that I have no requests whatsoever, except to work to be an important coach for Fiorentina.

“And I added: ‘In two or three months you will be asking me to renew the contract’. In Florence, I found people who are trying to start a family.”
