Haskey Begs Liverpool to Sign Alaba

Since Alaba’s contract will come to an end next summer, Haskey wants Liverpool to snatch the Bundesliga player while they can.

now that the talks for a contract renewal with the player have been ditched by the German club. Therefore Heskey hopes Liverpool will aim for the player once January transfer window opens.

“You’ve got a player who plays left-back, left side centre-back and left wing-back and he can step into midfield as well,” said Heskey.

“You’ve got a younger version of James Milner, someone who can tick all the boxes but tick them well.”

“If you look at what he’s achieved, he’s a winner, so he knows what it takes to win and that’s what you want within your squad.”

“Because that rubs off on the younger players as well because what you do and what you’ve achieved, they want to do as well.”

With so many injuries on the squad Liverpool could make a good use of great player like Alaba since he can occupy several positions on the field.
