Mundo Deportivo believes that Gareth Bale has regained his passion for football after leaving Real Madrid.
He joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 and initially had a good time at Santiago Bernabeu , but his performance gradually declined. Having won many trophies during his seven years at Real, he has not had a good relationship with the fans and the team's head coach, Zinedine Zidane, in recent seasons.
Finally, he returned to Tottenham Hotspur on loan in the summer of 2020, and now he's falling in love with football again, according to Wales interim manager Robert Page, who has been called for managing Welsh National Team during the controversy involving Ryan Giggs and the alleged assault on his partner.
He’s a different person today. He seems to love his football again. He’s at a club where the coach wants him and Gareth is enjoying the training sessions and the minutes he’s getting," Said the interim manager in an interview with Sky Sports.
"Tottenham are preparing him sensibly so that he can play 90 minutes with the intensity that they want. This is how we’ve done it [during this training camp] and you can already see flashes [from him] in training that are something else.
“He’s enjoying football again and we hope that will be translated onto the field.”
Bale started playing football in Southampton and then moved to Tottenham in 2007, where he played for six seasons and established himself as one of the world's most talented players. He then joined Real Madrid, winning three La Liga titles and four Champions League titles
