Barcelona are reportedly 'on track' to extend Ansu Fati's contract at Camp Nou according to a report in Marca.

The Spain international only turned 18 at the end of last month but is already a significant player for the Catalan giants, scoring five times and contributing four assists in 10 appearances this season.

Barca recently raised the attacker's release clause to €400m, but as the youngster's current deal with Ronald Koeman's side is due to expire in the summer of 2022 Spanish giants are desperate not to lose him to a rival side and are thus keen to extend his deal, especially since he has become such a key member of his team this season.

The report claims that talks between the two parties are 'on track,' suggesting that an announcement on an extension could be announced in the near future.
