Eriksen does not show any desire, says Tacchinardi

Eriksen joined Inter from Spurs in the last winter transfer window but it has not been a successful period for him.

When

Eriksen

joined Inter, everyone thought that they had found their star for the midfield but things been disastrous for the Danish midfielder so far in

Italy

. Some believe that he is not suitable for Conte's tactics and some say that he does not show enough motivation to participate in the team.

Conte clearly prefers

Barella

over Eriksen and things are unlikely to change. Leaving in January seems inevitable for

Eriksen

as

Premier League

and

Manchester United

are a potential destination for him.

“We are good friends and speak every week,”

Milan

defender

Kjaer

told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

“His situation reminds me of what I was dealing with at Atalanta, as sometimes the ideas and methods of a coach suit you perfectly, at times they don’t. I know he won’t give in.”

However, former

Juventus

and Italy midfielder

Tacchinardi

takes a different view of Eriksen’s lack of progress.

“I can’t agree with him right now, because when he does step onto the field, he doesn’t show any desire to make an impact,” Tacchinardi told TMW Radio.

“Eriksen is damaging his own prospects by doing that. He played well at Tottenham because he had these quick wingers, but he’s not suited to Conte’s 3-5-2.

“If he goes to

Milan

or

Napoli

, who have those same tactical ideas, then he could, in theory, do well, but not at Inter.”
