Gabriel Jesusrevealed how he was shocked after suffering from a thigh injury during their match against
Wolves. The 23-year-old who has scored in all of his three appearances this season was shocked after receiving the news that he might be sidelined for several months.
Jesus who has finally returned to international duty talked about his injury ahead of
Brazil’s match against
Venezuela.
“It was a very complicated injury,” he said. “I was able to finish the game fine but when the blood cooled, I couldn’t walk properly.
“It was a kick and then a sprint that I ended up feeling something, but I continued.
“The next day the doctor asked how I was able to finish the game.
“It was a long recovery, because it’s a part of the body that bleeds a lot.
“Not being able to play bothered me and I was very upset by the injury.”
The Brazilian also talked about the interview
Guardiola
had regarding the player’s injury and the shocking news of his possible absence for four months.
“After the Guardiola interview, there was some confusion, but everything was resolved. I came back and I’m fine.”
