Kai Havertz claims winning the top-flight title at Stamford Bridge is "worth more" than it would be anywhere else.
The Germany international has talked about his decision to joinChelsea
in the summer transfer window, insisting "it was important to have a club with a vision". Havertz proceeded to be one of the most in-demand talents in Europe following an excellent 2019-20 battle at Bayer Leverkusen.
The 21-year-old boosted Leverkusen to rank fifth in the Bundesliga and touch the DFB-Pokal final. He scored 18 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions in the Europa League quarter-finals as well.
When Havertz asked about why he chose to continue his profession at Chelsea he answered: To me, it was important to have a club with a vision”
