Ahead of their friendly match with Netherlands Spain coach reflected on Ansu’s recent surgery and his return in the future.
Spain head coach Luis Enrique believes thatBarcelona
will return to the pitch the same way as he was before. The 18-year-old who became Spain’s youngest goal scorer in their last match against Ukraine had to go under a knee surgery due his lastest injury with Barca keeping him away from the field for at least four months.
Enrique commented on the player’s injury and his return saying: "Regardless of how old you are, injuries are part of football,"
"It is a sad moment but he will overcome it. He will be the old Ansu again."
The former Barcelona manager also talked about his other players includingAlvaro Morata
stating: "Morata is here because he has the confidence of his coach. He has a strong profile," Luis Enrique said.
"Llorente is almost already playing as a forward at Atletico now as the second striker.
"The normal thing is to change your position, becoming deeper in your role, but with Llorente it is the other way around."
It is expected thatKoke
will also join Spain for the upcoming international matches after two years of absence.
