Arsenal defender has found a four-year international standstill quite a tough time.

hardly accepted being out of international soccer for such a protracted time. The

right-back was recognized after four years when up to joining

while Sevilla's Jesus Navas was left out because of injury. Bellerin insisted "Yes, I am so happy getting back home. It has been almost five years since the last time, so I am very happy,"

The 25-year-old won the last of his 3 caps for La Roja during a friendly match against Georgia in July 2016 and he failed to feature at the tournament since then.

However, Bellerin was recalled by coach Luis Enrique for a friendly with Kingdom of The Netherlands and the Nations League fixtures against Switzerland and Germany. "They have been tough years, and they always are when you cannot join the national team, but I am very proud and happy now. I can't wait to start." Bellerin added.
