Growth of FIGC's inspection at Lazio

FIGC is looking into Futura Diagnostica and Avellino is investigating the coronavirus situation at Lazio.

The FIGC Prosecutor's Office is looking into Futura Diagnostica, and the prosecutors of Avellino are analyzing the coronavirus situation at

Lazio

that has lead to the hypotheses of crime in the file.

The President of Futura Diagnostica, the laboratory where Lazio does the swabs, is a suspect.

A hypothesis states that Lazio is under the study of falsity in a public document, negligent spreading of the virus, and fraud in public procurement.

Rome's local health authority got involved in the cases of

Ciro Immobile

,

Lucas Leiva

and

Thomas Strakosha

, blocking them on the 1-1 game against

Juventus

.

However, Lazio's concerns does not stop here, as the Prosecutor of Avellino has opened a file directly connected to the Federal Porsecutor's Office's study.

The Guardia di Finanza went to Formello on Saturday evening to hand over swabs, reports and documents relating to the tests done on the players and staff at the Biancocelesti.

The Prosecutor's Office is looking for the answer to how the swabs have been done by Futura Diagnostica di Avellino versus the analyses of SynLab (UEFA) and Campus Biomedico in Rome.

The Avellino test results were negative for all the Lazio players, but  Campus Biomedico had reported three positive cases the same day.

Guarda di Finanza also collected all information about the communication between Lazio and Rome's local health authorities.

The Lazio medic Ivo Pulcini was absent at the FIGC Prosecutor’s hearing.
