Previous Napoli, Milan, and Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has commended Inter striker Lautaro Martinez. 'I trust he can give Argentina extraordinary satisfaction'.

Higuain

, who moved to

Inter Miami FC

in September, talked about the obligations of wearing Argentina's No 9 shirt in front of the impending international break.

“It’s the one that weighs the most because behind you there’s a country,” Higuain told TyC Sports. “The happiness of wearing it depends on you.

“I have a clear conscience, I wish

Lautaro

the best.”

Lautaro has scored 10 goals in 19 games for his country and began the two games in the

World Cup qualifiers

Higuain, with 77 caps and 31 goals for Albiceleste, accepts the youthful Inter forward is prepared to set up himself at an international level.

“I see a lot of potential in him, he’s very young and starts at Inter, which is not easy at his age.

“Playing qualifiers is very complicated, as is the World Cup, where you must feel good for a month.

“Lautaro has great skills, I hope he can give great joy to the national team. It’s difficult to judge a player at 24, he has a long career ahead of him.

“I would like to evaluate him when his trajectory ends and after seeing if he will remain at such a high level for many years.”

Argentina

was victorious in the first two World Cup qualifiers games in October, planning to confront Paraguay at home on November 13 and afterward travel to Peru five days after the fact.
