Aguero Won’t Attend Man City-Liverpool Match Reveals Guardiola

Fri 06 November 2020 | 18:10

The Blues coach says the Argentinian player won’t be present for their next clash.

For next Sunday when

Manchester City

hosts

Liverpool

, the Argentinian striker

Sergio Aguero

is expected to miss their clash with the title’s favorites as Guardiola claims. The player who suffered from a hamstring injury last month during their game against West-Ham will not make it for their clash. Therefore the chances are likely that

Gabriel Jesus

will make it to the starting-XI.

Though many great teams may have a claim to the

Premier League title

the Spanish coach believes Liverpool are the favorites to win the trophy. During a conference on Friday Man City’s coach said: "They are the biggest favorite, but with the pandemic the situation is a bit different.

"I see other teams strong; Leicester maintained the level from most of last season, Arsenal made a big step forward to be contenders and Tottenham, [Jose] Mourinho has the team what he wants.

"Chelsea in the beginning is so stable now and has a huge squad for rotating top players. [Manchester] United in this moment is not in terms of results but we saw the quality they had last season, we suffered a lot in results and up front they are incredibly fast and clinical.

"I think this season there will be a lot of teams being there. The last five to 10 games will be important to arrive being there to fight for the title. Hopefully we can be there and arrive at the end with a chance to fight for the title."

The Catalan further added that his side are aware of their upcoming challenge and though it may be a great one they will try to do their best to attack whenever they can.
