Pique says it is normal for his club not to be a UCL favorite.

The Spanish defender

Gerard Pique

who faced

Dynamo Kyiv

alongside his team last Wednesday revealed that it is normal for

Barcelona

not to be the favorite club to win Champions League. The Catalonia player comments surfaced following the statements of Dynamo’s coach Lucescu who said in their pre-match press conference that “I don’t think Barcelona has the level now to win the Champions League.

“It is normal that we are not seen as candidates after recent years,” Pique told the press.

“We can only work hard and experience tells us that the results will come.  This year will not be easy but we are confident in doing great things. We are in November and by the end the results will be coming for us.

“I am convinced that we are going to change, we will have better feelings because we have young players who provide a lot of dynamism for us.

“We need time to change our dynamics and grow.”

Barcelona

eventually were able to win the game over their Ukrainian opponent and it is believed they will have an easy qualification to the next round but the same thing doesn’t go for their LaLiga season since they haven’t had a great display so far. Still Pique thinks that according to some experiences if they work harder they will get results and he knows that things will change for the better.
