Leicester had a great victory over Leeds. They beat Bielsa's side with a 4-1 result and Rodgers is not reluctant to show how much he is delighted by the result and performance.

Everyone expected

Leicester

and

Leeds

match to be a tight game but It turned out differently.

Rodgers

side outplayed

Leeds

and scored 4.

Barnes

,

Vardy

and

Tielemans

all scored. Rodgers is very delighted by the performance unlike

Bielsa

. The Foxes were dominant throughout the game and the boss called Vardy world class.

“That was the type of performance you need to win these games, Leeds are an attacking team but you can get space,” Rodgers said. “It was a brilliant performance.

“We had to show resilience after their goal and to come here and put in that type of performance was very pleasing.”

Rodgers has got the better of vaunted tacticians

Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta

and

Marcelo Bielsa

in recent weeks, and he added: “Because I’m a British manager, I got lucky, that’s the way it works in these games. But the players were brilliant and got their rewards.

“You watch Leeds closely in advance, see how they play with wingers and stretch the pitch and they want a basketball game, up and down, so you have to ensure you don’t get involved in that.”
