Liverpool have always recorded their unbeaten home league competitions with their 2-1 win over West Ham at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool's win for unbeaten league at

throughout 63 competitions (W52, D11), through their previous Premier League domestic failure in April 2017 when they fell 2-1 to Crystal Palace behind the preparation of former striker Christian Benteke.

Liverpool has played 63 games, beginning in December 1980. Chelsea  has always been the top-flight record for successive unbeaten domestic competitions, through their 86-game run coming to an end in 2008.

The defending Premier League champions have had a very hard start to the 2020-21 season in spite of propelling the first place with the win against West Ham.

Though they have won five of their

seven Premier League games

thus far in 2020-21, Liverpool have conceded 15 goals in those seven competitions

Liverpool have relinquished the first goal in three of their four home league competitions this season – similar to all 19 league matches at Anfield last term.

But, Klopp's men have won all three of those matches, becoming only the second side in Premier League history to pull off such a feat after Blackburn in November 2009.
