Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool star, delighted in the club's "great achievement" after rejoicing their 10,000th goal in a Champions League triuamph over Midtjylland.

Diogo Jota's hit

brought Liverpool a 2-0 victory at home to Midtjylland, also it flourished the Reds' landmark goal in all competitions on Tuesday.

Alexander-Arnold

made it possible for Jota's 55th-minute beginner before replacing Mohamed Salah protected the Group D points across the penalty zone.

"It was a nice goal and a great finish from Diogo," Alexander-Arnold said via UEFA.com.

"We have such a proud history and it's a great achievement to reach that landmark."

adding points and we did our job. We get the three points, that's most important, and now we [need to be] ready for the next game."
