Guardiola on Aguero’s Hamstring Injury
The Argentinian player is said to miss their upcoming Premier League match due to injury.
The
Manchester Citycoach believes the recent injury of
Aguerowill keep him away from the pitch for a month or so causing him to miss some of the team’s upcoming games. So far the player had to miss the chance of joining his squad ahead of their Champions League match and he is expected to miss the team’s clash against
Liverpoolas well.
Guardiola
reflected on the injury saying that they had to travel to France without a certain striker in mind. He also talked about other players’ absences from the team and commented on why they didn’t buy a new striker during transfer season. According to Pep the aim was to strengthen other areas on the team and finding a striker as the ones they have would have not been an easy task.
