Zidane hints Eden Hazard comeback before Gladbach match

Since his transfer to Bernabeu from Chelsea in 2019, Eden Hazard has constantly struggled with massive injuries as he has been able to appear in only 22 matches for Los Blancos. The 29-year-old midfielder suffered an injury right before the start of the current season and has not yet been able to play for his team. However after Real Madrid’s 3-1 win against Barcelona in their Saturday LaLiga match, everything looks set for the Belgian star to make a comeback to the team’s squad as Zinedine Zidane has hinted in his Pre-match interview ahead of their Tuesday Champions League game against Borussia Monchengladbach.

"If Hazard is with us it is because he is well and that is good news. We are all happy to see him with us," Zidane said on Monday.

"Tomorrow we will see how we are going to use him. It is very positive news for us.

"We know that the season is long and we are going to need everyone. It is true, I have always said it, because they are players who always play.

"It is true that we have had problems on the wing, but there are other players who can replace them and it will not give us problems."

Zidan’s side will be playing against Monchengladbach on Tuesday before continuing their Laliga campane with a match against Huesca four days later.
