‘He no longer finds his place’ Lizarazo urges Griezmann to leave Barca
Former Bayern Munchen star has has spoken about his countryman’s future at Barca and his place in the team’s squad.

Barcelona,
Antoine Griezman’s career has changed radically as the player has changed from being
Atletico Madrid’s biggest star to a bench-sitter for Catalans. The French star scored 133 goals in 257 games for Atletico but since his arrival at Camp Nou he has only managed to find the net 15 times in his 48 appearances for the new club. Griezman couldn’t make it to the squad for the team’s Saturday El Clasico against
Real Madridand was only able to play when he was substituted with
Ansu Fatiin 82nd minute. In an interview with Telefoot, Former French International Bixente Lizarazu has warned the 29-year-old about his place in Barca’s squad.
“He no longer knows how to play football with the Barca jersey. He no longer finds his place,
"When you lose your football at this point, it is better to go. It's been eighteen months, so it's impacting his head, and the situation is really critical for him."
Catalans will be playing against Juventus in their second round of the Champions League. It remains to be seen whether Koeman would include Griezman in his starting squad or he will watch another game from the bench for Catalans.
