Racism in social media as told by Deeney

Watford captain tells the Sun about how social media neglects racism to make profit.
Racism in social media as told by Deeney

According to Deeney, he witnesses an everyday abuse about his race on Instagram but based on what he claims and despite having reported many cases of racial abuse on social media this player still didn’t receive the proper response he was expecting.

This striker also questioned the media’s intention to end this hate trend and whether they were willing or not to respond to the ongoing racism. The Watford player believes that there should be more severe punishment for racism and to clarify his opinions more vividly he made an example of Casilla, a Leeds player, who was banned for eight matches after being accused of racist abuse.
