Former Barcelona coach set to join Brazilian club
Things did not go as expected when Setien came to Barcelona. Everyone expected him to follow what he created at Betis but it turned out that Barcelona's bad management at the board is still taking victims.
Quique Setien is one of the two options of the Brazilian giant Palmeiras. According to reports from Globo Esporte, Setien is the leading candidate to take the job. Palmeiras is one of the most popular teams in South America and specifically Brazil. Setien has confirmed that he and his coaching staff are taking legal action against the Catalan club for €4m due to the manner and communication of their dismissals.
The Cantabrian only oversaw 25 matches at the helm with his side winning on 16 occasions, drawing four matches and losing five, and has been replaced with Ronald Koeman.
