Barcelona striker claims he will be just ready to play for his national side in Brazil.
Copa America 2019 is set to get underway on June 14 and it will continue till July 7.
El Pistolero will miss Copa del Rey final against Valencia due to Meniscus injury but he'll be just ready for their national campaign in Brazil. This will be Suarze's final chance to get his hand on another trophy this season, having already won La Liga with Barcelona.
"Everything is going to be great, in one month I will be ready," he told 'El País de Montevideo' after his knee operation on Thursday. "It's not the same injury as 2017," he explained. "That was a cartilage issue and this time it's my meniscus."
Barcelona medical team claimed he will be out for four to six weeks but the Uruguay striker believes he'll be at his best for Copa America.
