Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

He was Bundesliga's top scorer in 2016-17 with 31 goals in 32 matches.

Winning the Premier League top scorer award in the next season with 22 goals was promising. Aubameyang scored 22 in 2019-20, too, but since 2020-21 his performance has declined.

In 2021 December, Arsenal stripped Aubameyang of captaincy and left him out of the squad, followed by a disciplinary issue. The English club was willing to allow him to leave the club. Aubameyang's contract with Barcelona is valid until 2025. It has been reported that his release clause is €100 million.
