Born in Union Berlin, Max Kruse, a talented German striker, began his senior career at Werder Bremen II in 2006. He went on to play for FC St. Pauli, FC St. Pauli II, and SC Freiburg. In 2013 the striker moved to Borussia Monchengladbach on a four-year deal, making his debut against Darmstadt 98 on 4 August 2013 in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. Yussuf Poulsen, the forward of RB Leipzig, is the next name on the list of the best Bundesliga in 2021. The Danish forward joined the youth ranks of Lyngby BK when he was 14, and on 4 December 2011, he made his senior debut against AC Horsens. The following season, he made 32 appearances, scoring 11 goals.
Poulsen's extraordinary performance did not go unnoticed by foreign and domestic clubs. Finally, on 3 July 2013, he joined RB Leipzig. The Danish footballer scored his first Bundesliga goal in the sixth fixture of the 2016–17 season against FC Augsburg. The Dutch footballer made 66 appearances for the club, scoring 21 times. His extraordinary performance did not go unnoticed Heracles Almelo, where he moved in 2014 and spent two successful seasons there, scoring 24 goals in 73 appearances.
In July 2016, Weghorst moved to AZ with a four-year contract, scoring his first European goal in a UEFA Europa League group match against Dundalk. He played for the first time on 27 July for the Italian club against Universitatea Craiova in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
