Keylor Navas

is Costa Rican. The family loved one another in poverty. His parents, Sandra and Freddy, went to America to make money when the boy was small and left Keylor with his grandma.

Nevertheless, the father had some time to instill a passion for sports in his son: the kid has been played soccer since five. Navas wrote on his Twitter page that soccer was the whole of his life.

Navas went to a soccer school in Pedregosso for seven years. The young man did not get to the native town squad because of his unfavorable characteristics: he was physically frail, and his height was unsatisfactory.

The height of a sportsman today is 185 cm, and his weight is 78 kg. It was the request from the Deportivo Saprissa metropolitan club that helped Navas begin his career in soccer.

The living conditions were already so awful that the young player was about to leave. He accepted into the youth squad at the time. Later, with Saprissa, Navas became the six-time Costa Rica champion.

The documentary film "Hombre de Fe" ("The man of faith") tells the tale of the childhood struggles of the goalkeeper. The directors had to seek special permission to obtain the exclusive content from the player's domestic arena, Santiago Bernabéu.

Keylor Navas Profile

Keylor won his 100th Real Madrid win in May 2018. Navas played 141 games, according to the statistics, and his success rate was 71 percent. In 2018, the 13th UEFA Champions League Cup in its history had won by Real Madrid.

Navas had the luck of holding the cup three years in a row-no league goalkeeper had ever done so.

, Bavaria, Liverpool, and

, the Spanish team's toughest rivals, have just half of these victories. To produce these results is almost difficult.

Keylor's teammates had their records as well. Head coach Zinedine Zidane has won nine honors since leading the club; three of them have been successive Champions League wins. The five-time UEFA Champions League Cup winner was

Cristiano Ronaldo

The player dedicated the win to the club's supporters, pointing out that only those who work tirelessly and never lose their confidence are fortunate. Style of play

Often ranked by a few analysts as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and regarded by some to be the best in the history of CONCACAF. Navas is an agile goalkeeper, known primarily for his agility, pace, and strength in goal and for his fast reflexes and outstanding shooting ability, which allows him to compensate for his relative lack of height.

He has also been honored in the media for his decisive efforts in vital matches and his knack for making tough and critical saves for his team in critical moments.  In 2017, former goalkeeper Manuel Almunia praised Navas, describing him as "the prototype model" goalkeeper, adding: "He's spectacular between posts, he's courageous, skillful, and very agile.

He holds his focus, and he is also smart. He deserves all the respect that he gets for what he has done. In 2020, compatriot Lester Morgan was mentioned by Navas as his goalkeeping hero.

Navas is one of the most favorite stars in the hearts of fans. He has shown his commitment to Los Blancos' over the last few years, performing a vital role in the team that won Europe by winning three Champions League trophies.

He spends more time with his family and less at numerous parties throughout his life after football and management. He also is less available to reporters and prefers to spend more time with his wife and children.

Keylor Navas Personal Life

As Keylor said in his interview with the Spanish radio station, his family was religious, even though he was engaged in religion late when he was 19. According to Navas, every religion should be value, and every person has the right to decide how to live.

The goalkeeper plays before a match. He goes to church twice a week; he sees his future wife there. According to the goalkeeper, considering his exceptional performance and determination, the Spanish media underrated him.

"If things don't go well for me, it's when the man with the blank page takes out his pen and starts writing." Nevertheless, it's reassuring to the player that his club and the people around it love him.

Family, children and relationships

Andrea Salas, the player's wife, is a beauty and a former role model. When she married Navas, she ended her career. Andrea isn't a public individual, she doesn't have an Instagram profile, and her husband's page has just a few images of hers.

Andreas has Daniela's daughter from a previous marriage; the couple also has Mateo's son. Salas and Navas are friends in Real Madrid attacking the family of James Rodriguez. Navas said that his childhood diet had made him a gourmet.

Keylor enjoys national meals, and he doesn't like cooking. The player is active in charitable work and plays in sports where donations are collected to benefit individuals. Besides, Navas has its charitable fund, run by former player Emilio Butragueño, who is also the director of the organization's public relations section.

In 72 nations, the fund funds 260 projects. In Germany, Keylor's teammate Toni Kroos has found a similar fund. Keylor won La Liga in 2017. To help children with cancer, he had his head shaved; he even committed the win to them.

When the goalkeeper got an injury at the Costa Rican national team training, it was challenged for him. Keylor had to leave the tournament for two weeks.

Besides, the goalkeeper broke a kind of anti-record which made coaches and viewers nervous: during the match with Real Betis, scored the own goal – Real Madrid had not had such an accident for 42 years.

Recovery from a disability is not the only thing on Keylor Navas' mind. The Costa Ricans are still devoting a large portion of their time to helping the neediest in Africa. Together with his wife, Andrea Salas, the goalkeeper has created a charitable foundation to help those in need.

The foundation's first mission is in Guinea-Bissau, where Navas hopes to work with an orphanage. The couple spent the weekend in the country, with the Real Madrid player even jumping in goal for a kick with a group of children.

Keylor Navas, who is on international duty with Costa Rica, viewed the Real Madrid Foundation Children's Clinic at the Humboldt German School in San Jose. Three hundred boys and girls between the ages of 8 and thirteen have shared this exceptional experience of values education through football.

The Real Madrid goalkeeper had words of inspiration to the children involved in the activity, directed at children in circumstances of social vulnerability: "Fight for your dreams. You have to believe that you can get anywhere in the world, in any situation you can get ahead".

Navas introduced the foundation at a press conference in San Jose, joined by his Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, who noted in tears that the goal is to help economically downtrodden children in Costa Rica learn skills to create a better future and make their dreams come true, and thereby pay back the help he got during his own childhood.

Legal issues

Goalkeeper Keylor Navas of PSG says that after 24 Costa Rican government agents reportedly misused a database to obtain information about him and his sisters, he will take legal action.

Navas reacted after Costa Rica's Judicial Investigative Department reported 24 of its agents had been taken under investigation for the suspected abuse of the "information platform" to find out about the keeper’s personal life.

"Navas said: " I'm upset, my privacy and that of my family have been violated. I asked my Costa Rican lawyers to take the required legal action.

The director of the department, Francisco Segura, said the operation had taken place through different offices between July and August, with one agent possibly trying to "check out" details about the player's sisters.
