Hugo Lloris Early Life

Hugo Lloris joined OGC Nice when he was ten years old after he was spotted by Dominique Baratelli the previous year when he was playing at CEDAC, an amateur club in the Nice district of Cimiez.

At the start of the 2005-2006 season, he took advantage of Bruno Valencony's retirement to become the first team's reserve goalkeeper, the starting player being Damien Grégorini. His first professional match against La Berrichonne de Châteauroux (2-0 victory) took place on 26 October 2005 in the League Cup. He then played all the matches for the club's B team until they lost the final against AS Nancy-Lorraine (1-2) on 22 April 2006. His first Ligue 1 appearance came on 18 March 2006, one day after signing his first professional contract.

On 31 August 2012, Hugo Lloris signed a four-year contract with English club Tottenham Hotspur. Competing with the starting goalkeeper, American Brad Friedel (then 41 years old), he made his first start with Spurs on 20 September 2012 in the first match against Lazio in the group stage of the

. On 7 October 2012, the French goalkeeper played for the first time in the Premier League when his team beat Aston Villa (2-0) and gradually became a regular ahead of Friedel.

After France disappointed at the 2008 European Championship, a shake-up took place. Family, Children and Relationships

Hugo Lloris was born on 26 December 1986 in Nice into a fairly wealthy family. He has a father of Catalan origin who is a banker in Monte-Carlo. Lloris' mother is a lawyer. Up until the age of 13, Hugo Lloris was passionately interested in tennis, which he played at a high level.

He has a brother name Gautier, who is 9 years younger than him, and currently plays as a defender for the Auxerre.
