David Silva was born on  8 January 1986 into  Fernando Jiménez, a retired municipal police officer who finally was responsible for the safety of the Valencia CF stadium, and Eva Silva. His father is Spanish (Canarian) and his mother, Eva, is of Japanese origin. He has two brothers, named Nando Jimenez and Natalia Jimenez. Besides his parents, he has a very intimate relationship with his grandparents. Silva revealed that her grandparents played a significant role in his life.
