Paulo Dybala profile

Paulo Dybala is a football player from Argentina who is known for his flawless playing style and his ability to score goals. He began his career with the 'Instituto de Cordoba' Argentine sports club in 2011.

He then joined the' Palermo 'Italian club in 2012 and started playing with the team until 2015. His big breakthrough came in 2015 when he joined 'Juventus FC.'

He won 'The Coppa Italia' and 'Supercoppa Italiana' during his maiden season with 'Juventus.' Because of his imaginative play and exceptional talent, he is also called the 'New Messi'.

He is nicknamed 'La Joya,' which means 'The Diamond' in Spanish, for his on-field success. Paulo has always been a very creative and professional athlete, making him a special player with his technique and ability to handle the ball in any given circumstances. He is considered one of the best footballers ever produced by Argentina.

Style of play

A fast, creative, graceful, and agile player with outstanding technical abilities and a low center of gravity, Dybala is renowned for his powerful and accurate shots from small spaces outside the box, dribbling abilities, balance, and close control, as well as his ability to beat opponents in one on one situations and defend or carry the ball with his back to goal for teammates excels during counter-attacks and in beating the offside trap while making offensive runs because of his pace on the ball, placement, intellectual motion, and ball skills.

He is also known as a hardworking player for his strength and defensive commitment to the ball. Because of his vision, passing, link-up play, and ability to drop deep and play off other players, as well as his strong and precise ball-striking ability from both inside and outside the field, Dybala is capable of both providing space for teammates and scoring goals himself.

Dybala is also effective at scoring with his head, considering his diminutive height, due to his speed over short distances, and his ability to anticipate defenders inside the box.

A versatile forward, he is capable of playing in any offensive position: at the beginning of his career, he began playing as a left-winger for Instituto in Argentina, but he has been used in a number of attacking positions since moving to Italy, including as the main striker, as a center-forward, As a supporting striker, as an offensive midfielder, as a wide playmaker in a free position, as a right-sided inside forward, as a false attacking midfielder, as a false-9, or even as an inverted winger on the right flank, where, with his stronger left foot, he is able to cut into the middle and curl shots on target.

On occasion, he was often used in a free attacking position, in which he is licensed to wander around the final third of the pitch, and either crash into the center or move between the flanks, because of his ability to build from the left or cut inside and score from the right.

In addition to his goalscoring ability, former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri also deployed Dybala as an offensive-minded central midfielder on occasion (known as a "mezzaluna" in Italian) due to His work-rate and engagement in the build-up of the attacking play of his squad, and described him in 2018 as a "box-to-box player" ("tuttocampista" in Italian).

He has also worked on occasion in a deeper playmaking position.

For both free-kicks and penalties, Dybala is also precise. Comparisons with Sergio Agüero, Javier Pastore, Carlos Tevez, Omar Sívori, Diego Maradona, and Lionel Messi were drawn to his style, as well as with the formerly Italian, forwards Vincenzo Montella, Dybala was identified by Alessandro Del Piero and Roberto Baggio in 2017 as the number 10 of the future.

In 2014, Don Balón called him one of the 100 most promising young players in the world born after 1993, generally considered a highly talented prospect in world football. Despite his talent, though, at times in the media, his mentality, consistency, and leadership skills have come into question.

Dybala is known for using his signature "mask" celebration after scoring a goal; he elaborated on the gesture: "My mask gesture is not so much a goal celebration but rather a message. It's an ideal mask that was worn by gladiators to fight."

The idea of this celebration was born in Doha against Milan after we lost the Supercoppa.

He made his 200th appearance on 7 December for Juventus in a 3-1 away loss to Lazio in Serie A.

Because of his family origins, Dybala was eligible to play for Poland and Italy, but he specifically said that he felt Argentine and had always dreamed about playing for Argentina.

I feel 100% Argentine, I wouldn't be content with a national team that didn't feel like mine, to hear an anthem that's not mine, in colors that don't belong to me," Dybala said."

Boss Gerardo Martino first called Dybala for the Argentina senior team on 22 September 2015, but his first appearance came on 13 October 2015, coming off the bench to substitute Carlos Tevez in the 75th minute during a qualifying match against Paraguay in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
