Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva (born 10 August 1994), known as Bernardo Silva (Portuguese pronunciation) or simply Bernardo is a professional Portuguese footballer who plays for English Premier League club

Silva, born in Lisbon, came to 

's youth academy. In 2013, he started playing with

Benfica

A commodity belonging to S.L. Silva played for the ranks of 

's youth system and won the 2012-13 Portuguese Juniors Championship in 2013. In a Segunda Liga match against Trofense on 10 August 2013, he made his debut for Benfica B.
