Edinson Cavani is a professional footballer who is currently playing as a striker for

Football club and Uruguay National team.

Cavani's highly successful career started in 2005 at the Uruguan side, Danubio where he stayed for two seasons. He won his first major trophy, The Primera Division title in the 2006-07 season. Next stop for Cavani was Palermo in the Italian Serie A. He played four seasons with the Italian side but failed to win any title.

Cavani's career breakthrough came at 2011 when he joined Napoli on loan from Palermo. His first season with Napoli was a huge success as El Matador scored an impressive 26 goals in 26 matches and won the Coppa Italia title.

Napoli took the chance to sign the lethal striker and he ended up playing another two seasons with the club. In his third season with Napoli, Cavani scored 39 goals across all competitions and won the Serie A Top scorer award with 29 goals in 38 matches.

Edinson Cavani's excellent performances at
