Comparing Reinier with kaka

Kaka, the former Real Madrid star, is one of the greatest players in Brazil's history. Sheer stubbornness, surreal ball magic, the ability to turn the game around and bring the fans out of their seats have made him one of history's most beloved footballers. Only something else was his beauty and elegance. Hack, we're talking about the receiver of a Ballon d'Or.

Twelve years after Kaka won his first and only Ballon d'Or, an amazing 17-year-old boy stormed the Brazilian Serie A because of his abuse of flamenco. This extremely talented attacking midfielder, Heinz, is Reinier Isa, who has been praised for his maturity and comparable performance to one of the best Brazilian players who has ever excelled.

For EUR 30 million, Real Madrid was able to sign Reinier Jesus, taking advantage of the benefits of finding a scout-like Johnny Calafat, who managed the best young talent in Brazil. His arrival has created a stir because the Spanish media compared him to the legendary Kaka, something which has not stopped to this day.

What does not help is that for Real Madrid, Kaka played. One of the

top facts about Reinier

is the legendary Kaka's nickname given to Reinier by the Spanish media.

Whenever the stage is attacked by a young player, it is natural to liken the player to someone with a similar playing style. It is therefore not surprising that a player like Reinier can be compared to Kaka - quick on foot, clever job, powerful shot, and solid structure.

Reinier, however, believes that he shouldn’t be looked at as the next Kaká, but rather as the first Reinier.

Rienier says: “I don’t want to be a Kaká, I want to be Reinier. It’s good to be compared to a player like that, but I want to show who I am.”

It is not just wrong to compare a young player with a legend. This mark bears a certain presumption to which young players can easily surrender. Failure to perform at that level will significantly harm the trust of a player and can therefore place the career of the player in a completely different direction.

It is better for a player to be judged by what he can do instead of what the players have done in the past. Lionel Messi Diego Maradona was not next. Cristiano Ronaldo was not Luis Figo next. Neymar Ronaldinho was not next. And Reinier Jesus is definitely not the next uncle, because he wants to be Reinier and he will be Reinier.
