Celtic singed Frimpong from Manchester City in September 2019 for £350k. Selling 20 years old talent made a huge profit for the Celtic. The match between Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig could be the debut for Frimpong.
Dutch right back has 36 appearances in Scottish Premiership and scored three goals. Jeremie Frimpong is the fourth most expensive sign out in Scottish football the same price
Southamptonpaid for
Virgil van Dijk. The German club confirmed that Frimpong had signed a four-year contract. Peter Bosz is also Dutch and it could be good news for the young talent.
Max Meyer
Max Meyer joined Köln from Crystal Palace. According to the official website of Köln, Max Meyer, the 25-year-old German midfielder of Crystal Palace, terminated his contract with the English club and joined Köln by signing a 6-month contract until the end of the season. Meyer has been with Crystal Palace since 2018 and has scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in 56 appearances for the club. Meyer will wear number 13 in Köln.

Tahith Chong
Tahith Chong has swapped
Werder Bremenfor Club Brugge in a loan move after Manchester United midfielder failed to make his mark during a frustrating Bundesliga spell. Manchester United Chong’s spell with Werder Bremen was cut short because he only had 13 appearances after joining them in the summer transfer window. The Holland U21 international, who has made 16 appearances for United will spend the rest of the season with the Belgian giants.
wrote on Twitter: 'It's been a pleasure to represent this club (Bremen) for the last few months. Even though it wasn't long, I learned a lot and I leave the club with some great memories and friendships.
At the age of 21, Chong was looking to impress Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the United staff during his loan spell. However, he started just four times for Bremen and scored one goal in the DFB Pokal Cup. As a result, Chong will join Club Brugge, who are comfortably leading the Belgian top-flight.

Demarai Gray Update
In the last days of the Bundesliga January transfer window of 2021, Bayer Leverkusen has completed the signing of Demarai Gray from Leicester City. The former England U21 winger has signed an 18-month deal and became the third signing in this window, following the arrivals of Timo Fosu-Mensah from Manchester United and Jeremie Frimpong from Celtic.
"It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain new experiences abroad with a very exciting club," he explained. "I really like German football, and Leverkusen’s attacking, aggressive and technical playing style suits me well. I can and want to develop and be successful here."
"Demarai Gray is a real bag of tricks, he’s a quick and direct winger who adds another string to our bow in the attack," said Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes. "He knows how to exploit his pace in one-on-one situations and has an eye for his teammates. Thanks to his Premier League experience, he can hit the ground running with us."

Chris Richards
Bayern Munich’s American defender has been moved on a loan without an option to buy to TSG Hoffenheim. Richards has been touted as one of Bayern Munich’s brightest young players. At the start of the season, it looked like he might be in Bayern’s first team. However, in the past few months, Richards has rarely been used by Hansi Flick. The 20-year-old center back joined Hoffenheim for the rest of the season in order to try and get some consistent professional minutes under his belt.
"Chris is a good tackler and a very quick defender who has had playing time despite outstanding competition in the Bayern squad," said TSG director of football Alexander Rosen, who went on to describe Richards as an "important and valuable option in the center back position" considering the club's injury problems there.
"I'm looking to taking the next step in my development at Hoffenheim," Richards said. "It's important I now get more match practice in the Bundesliga. I've got big goals and would like to recommend myself further at Bayern."
Shkodran Mustafi
Arsenal saw three big names leave the club on deadline day, including
Shkodran Mustafi. Six months before the end of Mustafi’s contract, he agreed to move back to his homeland. He signed a 35 million pounds contract with Arsenal in 2016 from
Valencia. Mustafi made just six appearances under Arteta this season.
Mustafi, who left Germany to join Everton in 2009 followed by spells at
Sampdoriaand Valencia, will make his Bundesliga debut at the bottom for a team with the worst defense in the league. Schalke has conceded 49 goals and has won just one of its 19 games.
Arsenal boss Arteta said: “Musti has been a key player for us for a long period of time. “He played a very important part in my first season as manager and I’d like to thank him for his professionalism and for always being ready when called upon. “Everybody at Arsenal wishes Musti well at Schalke.”
Ozan Kabak Update
In the last hours of the January transfer window, Liverpool has done a loan deal for Schalke defender, Ozan Kabak, with the potential to make the move permanent in the summer. Liverpool’s injury crisis at center back has seen them turn to the 20-year-old Turkey international. Kabak has also played for Galatasaray and VfB Stuttgart in his young career so far.
It’s been reported that the loan cost Liverpool one million pounds, and could rise up another 500k depending on how many appearances he makes for the team. Also, there is an option to buy, with the Reds able to make the move permanent for 18 million pounds plus add-ons.
Newcastlehad a deal agreed with Schalke to sign Ozan Kabak from Schalke before Liverpool hijacked the move, reports have claimed.
Paul Merson has questioned the move for Kabak, saying that his agent should be knighted for getting him the switch to the Premier League champions. ‘For me, I think they’ve brought these in, they are not expensive, they play the position. I mean, the lad at Schalke, honestly he cannot believe his luck,’ Merson told Sky Sports. ‘If you’re his agent you’d look to get knighted. ‘He’s going to the champions, they’ve [Schalke] won one game all season, they’re struggling at the bottom of the league. ‘I just don’t know [why they are buying him]. I honestly don’t know. That shocked me, that really shocked me.
Sami Khedira
Hertha Berlin has completed the transfer of Juventus midfielder, Sami Khedira. The former German international has joined the Bundesliga club after a five-year contract with Juventus. It’s been over 14 months since Sami Khedira last appeared in a game for Juventus. It’s been even longer since Khedira, once considered a key player in Juventus’ starting lineup that advanced to the second of two Champions League finals in the span of three years, was the player that first showed up in Turin.
Juventus announced that Khedira has terminated his contract, one that was set to expire at the end of the 2020-21 season, and it was by mutual consent so he can join Hertha Berlin on a free transfer after taking a medical with the club over the weekend. According to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio and German Kicker, Khedira has agreed to a contract with Hertha until 2023.
Currently, the club from Germany’s capital city are 15th in the table and are trying to avoid being put in a relegation position. By adding Khedira they will solidify a midfield that has largely underperformed so far this season. "I feel physically very good and I want to help the team and Hertha to be successful on a sporting level by using my experience," Khedira said in a statement.
Joshua Zirkzee Update
Through a statement on their official website, Italian Serie A club Parma have confirmed the capture of Dutch-Nigerian striker Joshua Zirkzee. Parma indicated there is an option to buy, but there was no specific cost listed. It is expected that the specific purchase cost at the end of the loan agreement between the clubs could be worth €15 million. The deal itself is not exactly what Bayern Munich wanted. Finally, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano squeeze out even more of the finer details, including Bayern Munich reportedly set to receive 7.5% of any future sale of Zirkzee.
The 19-year-old has registered 4 goals in seventeen first team appearances for the Bavarians, of which four were starts. Everton had considered the possibility of signing the Zirkzee before Parma won the race for his signature. A move seems to be the best thing for all parties involved. At one point both Everton and Juventus were linked to Zirkzee, but the Dutchman likely has a better chance to play at Parma, which is currently 19th in the Serie A table.
