By exploring the best Manchester City XI of all time, the history of the club is reviewed from different aspects. Great players usually bring great achievements and fascinate the audience with their performance. Along with the fans, the players are the most vital element for a club.

After the Man City Premier League title in 2011, the word big six entered the English football vocabulary. Despite the golden age of the club in recent years, many great players have played for the club for more than a century. The players who, unlike today's team, are not the most expensive players in the world.

In 2008, signing Robinho with $40 million price tag, considered a waste of money. There are defenders in the current

is not easy. Let's not forget that the game between Manchester City and

Stoke City

, which was the record for the most attendances in English football for many years, was held at Maine Road Stadium in 1934.

In the last ten years, Manchester City has undoubtedly been the best team in the

Premier League

. But it was during this period that

LeicesterCity

Joe Corrigan joined the club at the age of 19 from the Manchester City youth team. He spent 16 seasons at Manchester City. After two seasons in 1969, he became the number one in Manchester City's line-up. In that season, Man City won the League Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup to become the first English team to win both a European and a domestic cup in the same season. In 1976 he again won the League Cup with Manchester City.

Corrigan received the Manchester City Player of the Year award that year. Later he won this award two more times in 1978 and 1980. However, his chances in the

England National Team
