Gilberto Silva was one of the first Brazilians with a highly successful career spell in the Premier League. he was a key member in Arsenal's golden era at between 2000 to 2007. His influence has been clearer every time he has been absent due to injury, with his replacements costing Liverpool important points in the UCL and the Premier League. 

Allison won the best goalkeeper award in his debut season at the Premier League to further stablish himself as one of the world best goalkeepers.

Ederson

David Luiz

In his first of two spells with the Blues, Luiz played 81 games and scored 6 goals. He stayed with the club for three seasons and won the Uefa Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

Luiz returned to the Premier League and again joined Chelsea in 2016 after three seasons at PSG. In his second spell with the club he won the Premier League title. He stayed for another three seasons, playing 105 games and scoring 6 goals.

In 2019, Luiz signed for Arsenal and has been a regular starter in the 2019-20 and 20-21 seasons for the Gunners.

Fernandinho

 Juninho

Juninho Paulista is a very interesting case in our list of Top Brazilian players in Premier League history as he was the first Brazilian local hero in England top flight. Juninho first joined Middlesborough in 1995 and stayed till 1997.

After a brief spell at Atletico Madrid, Juninho was loaned to Middlesborough and this time he played 28 games and scored 4 goals in one season. Juninho's third spell with his beloved club was from 2002 to 2004 as he played 35 games and scored 11 goals.

Oscar

A wired case in the list of top Brazilian players in EPL history, Oscar was absolutely amazing in his six seasons at Chelsea, but decided to leave for the famous Chinese club, Shanghai SIPG when he was only 25 years old.

Oscar played a total of 131 games in the Premier Leage and scored 21 goals. He won two Premier League titles, one Football League Cup and the Uefa Europa League in 2012-13. Oscar had a habit of scoring super goals and he won two Chelsea goal of the year award in 2013 and 2015 for his goals against Juventus and QPR respectively.

However, leaving the premier League was not without consequences for the Brazilian midfielder as he has never been invited to Brazil national team again.

Ramires

Roberto Firmino

However, he literally went from hero to zero for the diehard Liverpool fans when he forced his way out of the club to join Barcelona in the winter of the 2017-18 season. Surprisingly, his departure benefited Liverpool the most as they were able to buy Allison and Virgin Van Dijk with his transfer money.

Without Coutinho, Liverpool went on the write one of the most prolific periods of the club's history. They won the 2018-19 UCL title by humiliating Coutinho and co. by four goals in the semi-final. And went on to win the much awaited Premier League title the following season.

Coutinho had a very disastrous first spell at Barcelona and was loaned to Bayern Munchen in the 2019-20 season. However, he tasted salvation as he won the UCL in his single season with the Bavarians, scoring two goals against his parent club, Barcelona in the 8-2 hammering of the Catalans in the quarter finals of the competition.
