Lee Sharpe

The first person on the list is Lee Sharpe, a former English footballer. As a left-winger, he stayed 8 years at Old Trafford from 1988 till 1996.Born in 1971 at Halesowen, Sharpe got trained and played his youth career at Torquay United then, he began his professional career with the same club but after less than a year, he got transferred to Man United.At only 17 years old, Sharpemade made his debut for the Red Devils against West Ham United on 24 September 1988 in a  Football League First Division match. United won the game  2–0 that day.

At the end of 1990–91 season, he got his way to the first team after playing a big part in Manchester's success such as scoring the only goal of United against Barcelona in the European Cup Winners' Cup or his hat rick against Arsenal in the League Cup.Although, he was just at the beginning of the road to be one of the Best Manchester United Midfielders of all time.

Through the years he established himself as a good player and had some memorable moments mostly his goal against Barcelona in the 1994–1995 Champions League season's group stage which put Manchester in the lead.

He moved on to Leeds United after almost 200 games with The Red Devils.

He actually was born in Manchester on born 21 January 1975.He began playing with Man United from an early age. He was very useful and beneficial to the youth team. Butt got his way to first-team in the 1992–93 Premier League and made his debut on 21 November 1992 in a 3-0 victory Oldham Athletic. He came to the game as a substitute.

He had some early success such as the double-winning season of 1995/96. Since then he has seen many victories and achievements with The Devils including a UEFA Champions League title(1999). Six Premier League titles(1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03),three FA Cups  (1996, 1999, 2004), and four FA Community Shields (1994, 1996, 1997, 2003).

Unfortunately Butt was in the same era with very famous and great midfielders so he didn't get enough playtime to play a huge role for Man United.But generally, he had a successful career with The Red Devils scoring 26 goals and almost participating 400 games with the United's jersey.

In 2004, he said goodbye to his old club and moved to Newcastle United.

William Morgan

The former Scottish player spent seven years with Red Devils. He played as a winger from 1968 to 1975.Morgan was born on 2 October 1944 at Sauchie, Alloa, Scotland. He made his professional debut with Burnley against Sheffield Wednesday 1963. After eight years and making 231 appearances plus scoring 22 goals, he transferred to Man United in the summer of 1968. It may interest you to know when he arrived in Manchester, he asked for No.7 shirt which was for George Best, another powerful midfielder.He eventually got the shirt.

He came back to Burnley but he stayed there for a year. He made 21 appearances for Scotland but just scored one goal.

Paul Ince

The English player was born on 21 October 1967. He started his senior career with West Ham United making his debut against Newcastle United in the First Division on 30 November 1986.After 3 years and 72 appearances, Ince got transferred to Manchester United for £1 million. His transfer was very controversial. He was seen in a Manchester United kit before the transfer was complete.

His first match with Man United was a 5–1 win over Millwall. But his following game was a shameful 5-1 defeat against United city rival, Manchester City.Nevertheless, he was a key factor in the Red devil's success during his time. Man United's achievements during his spell are included:

Steve Coppell

Stephen Coppell spends more of his life as a manager than a player. He spent 35 years managing teams like Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Reading, etc.But he was also a very good player with only eight years of playing for Manchester and in that short period, he claimed his place among the Best Manchester United Midfielders of all time.Manchester United former manager, Tommy Docherty once called him "one of the best players I ever had the privilege of working with."

He was playing for Tranmere Rovers but after two years and 40 appearances, Coppell joined the Red Devils in 1975 as a right-winger. He made his debut as a substitute on 1 March 1975  in a 4–0 win over Cardiff City. That season, he was present for ten games on United's side.

His pace and touch were famous and it was a struggle for opposing defenders to take his ball. During his time in Man United, he scored 53 goals and made more than 300 appearances. He only achieved one FA Cup in the 1976/77 season with The Devils. In 1983, Steve Coppell left United and retired from football due to a knee injury.

Paddy Crerand

Paddy or Pat Crerand is a former Scottish footballer who played 8 years for the Red Devils. He was born on 19 February 1939 in Glasgow, Scotland.After spending his youth career with Duntocher Hibernian, he joined Celtic and began his professional career. After making 120 appearances, and scoring 5 goals in a six-year period for Celtic, he got transferred to Man United in 1963. His debut match on Manchester's side was against Blackpool.

Hw was a physical player who was known for his tenacity and tackling ability and his partnership with booby Charlton and Goerge Best who are in the list of Greatest Manchester United Midfielders of all time as well. He was an uncompromising yet accurate midfielder.Crerand helped the Devils to win titles such as the First Division league title, FA Cup, and a European Cup title.

After having appeared in 401 games and scoring 19 goals for United he retired from the world of football. Then, he became a coach at United for some years. He was also known as a co-commentator on MUTV, Manchester United's television channel. This year he becomes 82 years old.

But he was also a player who played as a box-to-box midfielder.He started his senior career with West Bromwich Albion where he stayed for 6 years, made almost 200 appearances, and scored 40 goals.

On 1 October 1981, he got transferred to Man United with a transfer fee of £1.5 million which at that time broke was the British record transfer fee.Robson made his first appearance with a United jersey 1 in a 1–0 League Cup defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on 7 October 1981.

He was a good goal scorer and had a great movement and timing. Roy Keane

Pelé named him one of the world's greatest living players in 2004 and many consider him one of the Best Manchester United Midfielders ever.He joined the club in 1993 after United signed him for £3.75 million, which was a British transfer record at the time.HE established himself for the first time after Bryan Robson was not as ready and energetic anymore due to injuries and age. He also scored twice on his home debut in a 3–0 win against Sheffield United.

Roy Keane was another footballer that played in the golden  Sir Alex Fergusen era and was developed by him. He achieved 17 trophies with the Devils, including a Championsleague title, several Premier League titles, and so on.

He was powerful and competitive but not exactly in a good way. He played over aggressively. Many suffered from his playing and he actually ended a career. In the 2001 Manchester derby, he performed a knee-high foul on Alf-Inge Håland and broke his leg. According to Roy Keane himself, the tackle was premeditated.

But generally, he was a good defensive midfielder that scored 33 goals and made almost 330 appearances for Man United. After the Red Devils, he transferred toic Celtic and retired a year after in 2005.

David Beckham

David Beckham is a former English footballer who played for some famous clubs such as Real Madrid, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and of course, Manchester United. He joined the Red Devils in 1992, which was the beginning of his career. He was part of the youth team. Former English footballer is considered one of the greatest players in his generation or even of all time.He was Winner of the Ballon d'Or in 1966 and at his time he had records for the most goals and most appearances for both Man United and England.b Furthermore, he received a CBE in 1974.

He joined Man United in his youth in 1953 but his senior career with The Devils began in 1956. He made his first debut in October 1956 against Charlton Athletic. He scored twice at that match.In his first year with United, he scored a total of 12 goals in all competitions including a hat-trick.

He was a survivor of Munich's air disaster, a crash that took 23 lives including 8 Man United players.It's very touching to know that before the crash Charlton and teammate Dennis Viollet swapped places with Tommy Taylor and David Pegg because they taught they would be safer at the back of the plane but after the incident, they perished.It's like he was destined to continue his life to play and become one of the Best Manchester United Midfielders of all time.

Generally, Charlton was a legendary central midfielder who scored almost 200 goals and made 606 appearances during his time with the Red Devils.

Paul Scholes

Another United player whose name is in the list of All-time Best Midfielders at Manchester United is the English former football soccer, Paul Scholes.He spent his entire professional playing career with Man United. He was playing in Manchester even in his youth. His professional debut for the club came on 21 September 1994  in the Football League Cup against Port Vale. Manchester won 2–1 which both goals were scored by Scholes. In addition, he scored another goal in his league debut three days later against Ipswich Town. He scored 5 or 6 goals in his first season.

Scholes won 25 trophies with the Devils including 11 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League titles etc. It's worth mentioning that his Premier League titles are more than any other English player.

He is widely viewed by many as one of the greatest players of the Premier League for his technical skills, smart movements, accurate passing, and strong shooting from long range. Although, there have been times in his career that he got violent.He always had a tough hard tackle, sometimes he was too hard a tackler. Scholes has gathered a total of 90 yellow cards and 4 red cards in his career.

Goerge Best

Now we have another individual from the Best Manchester United Midfielders of all time list that actually began his career with the Devils. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland Best was discovered and joined the club at the age of 15. He stayed in Manchester for 12 more years and won tournaments such as Football League First Division and European cup. His First Division debut came on, on 14 September 1963 against West Bromwich Albion when he was only aged 17. At the end of the 1963–64 season, he had made 26 appearances and scored six goals.

Playing as a winger or an attacking midfielder, he was highly skillful, had extremely good dribbling abilities that made him viewed as one of the greatest dribblers by several pundits.With his speed and techniques, he was very good at the ability to getting past defenders and score goals. He could also play and finish with both feet.

During his period with Man United, he scored 137 goals and participated in 361 matches,another reason that justifies his place on the list of Best Manchester United Midfielders of all time

Despite his greatness, he had some personal issues such as Alcoholism that unfortunately caused him to die at the age of 59. He will always be remembered as an excellent footballer.

Ryan Giggs

Giggs graced the Red Devils with his pace, versatility, and abilities. He was effective in many leagues and international titles. With Man United, Giggs achieved 13 Premier League winner's medals, 4 FA Cup winner's medals, 3 League Cup winner's medals, 2 UEFA Champions League winner's medals, and so on.

Giggs left the Red Devils and retired in 2014 after more than 600 appearances and 114 goals.
