The Argentinian tall of a defender Federico Fazio might not be remembered as one of the legendary defenders at Sevilla, but he surely is one of the Best Sevilla FC defenders ever as he helped their B team qualify for the Segunda Division in his first season at the club.
It was, however, in his second season with Sevilla that he truly came to the rescue after the team’s main centre-backs were heavily injured and had to watch the games from the sidelines for at least half or all of the season.
