Julian Draxler Career started in 2011 at his beloved childhood club, Schalke. He made his debut on January 2011 in a 0–1 loss to Hamburger. He was the fourth-youngest
Bundesligaplayer ever and the youngest in Schalke's history. A week later, Draxler became the second-youngest field player after Nuri Şahin to start a Bundesliga match.
Draxler scored his first goal for Schalke in the quarter-finals of DFB-Pokal against Nurnberg in the dying seconds of the match to ensure a 3–2 for his club.
He spent 6 seasons with Schalke and his best season was in 2012-2013 in which he scored 13 goals in 39 matches. In total he played 170 times for the club, scoring 30 times along the way.
