Footballers who have played for a team in Europe are never again cup-tied when they transfer to a new club playing in European competition this season. Additionally, this season, footballers who did not join any club are permitted to join another club outside of the transfer window limit.
The Last day of transfer windows in Spain, Germany, France, and Italy all had was on 31 January but not all countries do the same as it was closed on 1 February in Portugal and will be closed on 22 February in Russia. The Chinese Premier League transfer window will be closed on 27 February.

Allan Rodrigues de Souza has joined Club Atletico Mineiro on a permanent deal. The 22-year-old has completed a move back to Brazil after five years with the Reds.
