Ilary Blasi and Totti case: Blasi requests €37,500 a month of support

After the Roma legend Francesco Totti refused to pay €37,500 in monthly financial support, he and his ex-wife Ilary Blasi are headed for court.

After first dating in 2002, AS Roma legend

Francesco Totti

, wed the Italian TV host in 2005, and the two went on to have three children together: Cristian in 2005, Chanel in 2007, and Isabel in 2016. The couple had a high-profile wedding because they were both well-known individuals prior.

When

Ilary Blasi

announced in July this year that their 17-year marriage was ending, the couple found themselves in a difficult situation as rumors of infidelity and other problems abounded in the Italian press.

According to

Corriere della Sera

, Blasi sought Totti for €37,500 per month, including €20,000 in spousal support and €17,500 in child support. Totti countered with an offer in which she would receive nothing and their children would receive €7,000 per month but she would not.

Due to their differences, the two are now likely to become involved in a legal dispute, with the Italian courts ultimately determining how much should be paid each month.
