Garang Kuol close to joining Newcastle United
As per reports from 90min, Garang Kuol, the Australia international, is on the verge of making a move to Newcastle United.

’s club Central Coast Mariners for his signature and now they are close to reaching an agreement as Eddie Howe’s side are winning the competition from many clubs, such as Borussia Dortmund.
Newcastle United want Kuol to fulfill his
Australiaduty this month before they can finalize the contract. He had his debut when Australia locked horns with New Zealand on Sunday and the 18-year-old is said to be on his way to Europe now. Kuol has reached personal agreement with the club before a deal that might take place in January, when the Magpies will make a decision regarding what to do with the player in the short-term.
At this point, the player would not get a work permit qualification but should he be involved with the World Cup finals, that might change very fast. This would be determined when Graham Arnold reveals the squad list in the upcoming weeks.
Newcastle have a plan for Kuol and that is to send him on a loan contract to another league in Europe, but its length will be known when the work permit comes.
